Wasen American style:
Over 20,000 festival club members (former German emigrants and their families) from New York, Philadelphia and Chicago, who regularly visit the Cannstatter Volksfest to confirm and renew their bonds of friendship with Stuttgart.

Jobs at the Cannstatter Volksfest:
Approximately 1,500 jobs directly on the Wasen, recruitment of approx. 300 workers by a recruitment agency especially set up on the Wasen.

Economic Meaning:
The Cannstatt Festival is also a strong economic force for the city and the region. Besides the visitors, the bakeries, butchers, suppliers, commerce, service enterprises, hotel business, transport companies etc. also benefit from it. According to a marketing survey, approximately 17,000 people directly or indirectly work for the Cannstatter Volksfest.
