The Albdorf

Important information

This year, the Albdorf is part of the Landwirtschaftliches Hauptfest (LWH), which takes place from September 27 to October 4, 2026 alongside the Volksfest at the Cannstatter Wasen. It is open to visitors to both the LWH and the Volksfest.

During the LWH, the Albdorf is open daily from 3 pm. After the LWH closes at 6 pm, the Albdorf remains open until the end of the Volksfest: Volksfest opening hours.

Regionality is a high priority in Albdorf. At least 75 percent of all products offered come from Baden-Württemberg – primarily from the Alb region and Württemberg. Specialties from Baden are also available. Almost 100 different delicious dishes and drinks are on the food and drink menus.

The Albdorf on the Wasen was created as part of the regional campaign “Natürlich. VON DAHEIM” (Natural.FROM HOME) by the Ministry of Rural Affairs, Agriculture, and Heritage. This has now developed into the state's regional brand.
