The Wasenbuoy

With the “Wasenbuoy“ there will also be an additional offer on the grounds this year, which is aimed specifically at girls, women and all those who identify themselves accordingly as a “safer space”.

The Wasenboje is a pilot project of the Municipal Crime Prevention Department and the Equal Opportunities Department of the City of Stuttgart.

What does the Wasenbuoy help me with?

If you have lost your group, need to rest, have had too much to drink or have experienced harassment, the Wasenbuoy is a good place to go. For example, women and girls can charge their cell phones there to find friends again. The Wasenbuoy team also helps with calling a cab for a safe ride home or accompanies women and girls to the police if something has happened.

Who looks after the Wasenbuoy?

Six female specialists with a socio-educational or psychological background have been specially trained and are on hand to offer help and advice to those seeking help.

When is the Wasenbuoy open?

The Wasenbuoy is open daily from 1 p.m. until the end of the festival - even longer if necessary.
